Where can I get 3rd row seat for my 1998 ML320? Dealer quoted $2400 (ouch!!)

Where can I get 3rd row seat for my 1998 ML320? Dealer quoted $2400 (ouch!!)
Several years ago was told $900, last year $1200, now $2400. What gives? If I had converted my stock holdings to ML320 third row seats in early 2000, I could retire right now. Are there discount parts sources that would have this - was unable to find with quick look on net. Thanks in advance for any help. By the way, I am new to this board - looks very good, similar to my "beloved" Audiworld, in which I waste countless hours.
