ML430 2001 Used - Need radio / Nav code
I recently bought a 2001 ML430 from Carmax. Mint only 41K miles on it.
The first issue is the battery went dead and now I cannot access the radio . . . says "enter code" It is a 5 digit code but I have none of the original paperwork / owners manual. Any ideas on where I can get the code???
Also any idea where I can buy a new or used manual?
Additionally I am looking to buy the New England Modular Control System CD for the unit. Mine came from Calif and I only have CD 1 (Calif. & Nev.).
Also have no key for the little storage box under the passenger seat and of course it's locked.
Any help on these issues would be greatly appreciated!!!

You can contact the local dealership and they will get it for you. This is one of the security things they have on radios these days. They will make sure that you own the equipment and generate teh for for you.
