1999 Mercedes ML-430 Lorinser Edition
Newbie here!!
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Sean. I am from Birmingham, Al and have been in the car scene for YEARS. I have worked at an aftermarket performance shop for about 3 years and have since become a Police Officer.
I recently sold my 2001 Trans-Am (586 RWHP) and purchased a 1999 Mercedes ML430 Lorinser. It has the 5" flares as opposed to the 3" (i'm told it is pretty rare) The factory 20" Lorinser wheels have been taken off and replaced with 22" Antera Type 301's. (silver). Thats all I can think to tell you about myself as of right now. I'll be sure and get some pics up. Maybe you guys can tell me a little more about my new ride than I already know.
Thanks,
Sean

Welcome to MBworld! ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Ah cool, so you have the big Lorinser flares, like these ones (below)?
I was actually planning on getting those some years ago, but then ended up buying a black ML, and I'm not really sure it'll be visible in black.

Yup, its the wide ones like that. The front bumper isn't like the new ones though. I was told that the bumper on the front of mine is VERY expensive to replace. Can anybody tell me what the Lorinser kit actually consists of? I know the bumpers/sideskirts/spoiler/wheels/exhaust and a little suspension work. Is there more? What exactly is done to the suspension other than it being lowered?
Edit-Thanks for the welcome!!
