need a navigation cd for NORTHEAST for 03 ML500. will nav cd from other models of benz fit the ML? of do i need to get ML specific nav cd ? and can i use the new navi cd in my car?

 

The ML W163 MCS discs are specific to the ML. The newer W164 discs are shared with GL, R class.

I have a NE CD and some DVDs 2002 and 2005 versions. If you have a factory NAV, it should be DVD based, not CD. One DVD covers the North America. PM me if interested in buying a disc from me.

 

They are ML specific.

 

I have a complete set of 10 CD based Navigation disks for the ML.

They came with my 2002 ML55 AMG.

They are not available from dealerships anymore. They want you to upgrade the MCS to a DVD based system for a few grand.

 

The ML MCS is CD based until 2003, when it was switched to DVD.

 

Hey, how u doin? hope ur doin good xD anyway I m livin in florida and I got a ML55 AMG like u... but its '01, so my nav cd is really old its like 8 years old lol... I have only one disk that works at florida I guess. Anyway I really need that updated nav disk so could u make a copy of the florida disk or upload it?

The 2007 CD versions are available from MB...only thing is they stopped selling individual region CDs...they want you to buy the whole set for $250, instead of the $150 that would buy you the CD for the region you wanted.

I am looking for someone to share the $250 cost for the upgraded 2007 version..if anyone from regions besides 'region 1' (CA & NV) are interested in sharing the cost, PM me..

 

SO IS MY 2003ML500 CD OR DVD? i dont want to buy the wrong disc i am confused now. i will double check the disc, to see if mines is a dvd or cd. its not working becuse its scratch i guess...

 

i called today about upgrading 2003 CD, they told me same thing, last disk is 2004 and they no longer support the CDs, rep said buy a new ML. I would be interested in splitting if someone did verify they found an 07

 

Not sure this helps, but my 2003 ML500 has the DVD based navigation, and I recently bought the new 2007 DVD from navteq.com.
