Hey guys...my SRS light is on...what does this mean/could be the reason for this?

yup, its a mercedes-benz. That is the problem.


Seriously though, that stinks. Take it to the dealer, should be a simple fix.

haha...agreed, dropped off the car w/o appointment and picked up a loaner we'll see how much it costs

I have the same problem, but only when someone sits in the passenger seat. I was told by one of the tech in the shop thats its some type of module under the seat is bad. He said the module is expensive and that not to worry about it... has anyone heard of this before. Thanks

Your tech gave you some bad and dangerous information. When the SRS light is on the airbag will not deploy. In the event you have an accident and the passengers are injured because of this fault that you know about how do you think it will play out in court.
