2001 ML320 wont start

2001 ML320 wont start
OK here goes:
So when I turn the ignition, it starts clicking. I though it was the battery, because jump starting it works fine. But this happened multiple times. Could it be the alternator, or anything worse? OR could the battery be just completely dead. I haven't changed it once yet.

when you get it running ck the voltage at the battery should be 13 to 13.5, if ok the alternator is probably ok, it sounds like a defective battery, how old is the battery?
You can also call MB roadside assistance and have them test the battery, they can also replace it for you right at your house, roadside assistance is a free service you might as well use it
