New Tires
Hello all,
I'm looking to buy new tires to replace my old ones on a 2000 ML320. I've read some good reviews on this site about the Michelin Cross-Terrains but when I go to the Michelin site online it says that the only tire available for my car is the "Latitude Tour HP".
Do they not make them anymore for ML's? Can anyone recommend me a good set of tires that are comparable to the CT's (in terms of price and overall quality year round including snow). I upgraded to 18" AMG replicas if that matters at all.
Thanks!!

I have the Goodyear Fortera TripleTred's on my '03 ML. I have just over 6,000 miles on them and love them. Great looking, outstanding tire. I haven't driven them in snow but they have been great on dry and rain. Quiet tire too. Read the reviews on them on TireRack. I paid $159 ea. at Sears.

Out of luck
It looks like your size is not available, that is a shame because it is an excellent tire. The 275/55/17's are still availble which is a relief because I will be looking for my 3rd set in another 25k miles. I will definetely get every bit of 65k advertised mileage wear out my current set.

Got mine Hankook Ventus last time I changed my whole 4 tires...
For the price, look, treat wear of tire and street performance I wont complain bout this tire...and I ll buy it again for sure......
Michelin is a good tire but is too pricy....

ML55 AMG size is 285/50/18 which is a rare size. not too many brand to choose from.
265/55/18 would get you the same diameter and more brand to choose from but then you are getting thinner tires.
