Have you ever been stuck in your ML???
Not including mechanical failures ( separate thread) has anyone ever gotten stuck where they couldn't drive their ML out of?
If so, what were the conditions?

Nope.
We off-roaded up in Montana with no problems. Mud
and rain. My brother's 4-runner did equally well, btw.
But I was very careful - the closest dealer would be Denver. That's a long hike if I were to do something stupid.

Yup. Got stuck in the PARKING LOT of Mt.Washington Ski Hill on Vancouver Island. It had dumped snow, and there were some very deep treads running through a far corner of the lot, which were then covered by another foot of snow. I ended up high centered, and no amount of four-wheel drivin' would get me out. Even my buddy's 4-Runner with a rope attached to my rear tow hook couldn't budge me.
We eventually rounded up everyone from the cabin and dug out underneath it and I was able to move again.
Next time I'll have snow tires
