rear brakes?

I've been trying to get the caliper off after removing the two bolts from behind the caliper... is there anything else that i need to do to loosen it? It feels loosened a little bit, but it's still stuck in there, and won't come off. Does the entire caliper come off as an assembly, or just the middle part?

Also, if someone has the manual, can you scan the pages in and post them please!

If you have the parking brakes on, that will cause that. Disengage brakes and you'll be fine.

I think he said Caliper, not Disc.
The Caliper is not activated by the Parking Brake. The Parking Brake is a separate Drum Brake / Brake Shoe system built into the Disc rotor.

MALOVENT -- What year and model ML do you have. Different models and years have very different breaking systems. The brakes on my 98ML320 are nothing like the brakes on my 05ML500.
