ML320 (1998)
Question CD changer: Where does it go?

I want to get a CD changer for my 1998 ML320. I think that the 98 is pre-wired for the CD changer but I do not see the wires. I am thinking that it goes in side the compartment on the right of the cargo space, where the jack is. The bracket that I have seen for the ML also suggests that it would go in that space. However I do not see any wires in the compartment.

Anyone with a 98 ML with a CD changer that can tell me where it is located and if it is pre wired?

You have the location correct. Believe the wires are there and you have to fish around for them. They may be in a bundle with other wires. Be certain you purchase the player for the correct model year. Players for the newer ML's are set up for fibre optic cables and won't work in a 98.
