ok so im driving and all of a sudden the radio stop playing. the radio is on but nooooo sound. the cd part also says magazine empty but i loaded it with cds. i have nooo idea what the problem is can ANYYYBODYYY HELP ME????

Try pulling fuse #21 in the black fuse box under the hood on the drivers side. Pull the fuse and inspect it to make sure its still good, then reinsert it in the location you removed it from. Works for me when having problems with my MCS. Good luck.

I have an 06 R-350 and this morning it appears that the same thing happened. I got in the car and there was NO sound from the radio, sat, nav, changer or IPod. I reset the COMAND system and no luck. Everything appears to be working - it shows the right number of CDs, and appears to play them but no sound. . .and no, I don't have mute on!

Could this be a fuse issue as well? I hate to take it to the dealer and waste the time. . anyone know what the fuse # is?

Should be a diagram under the fuse box lid or possibly in the owners manual.

I often have the same problem - Here is a guaranteed fix - Disconnect the battery ground strap (black) for 30 seconds, then reattach

Then, reset the radio by punching in the radio security code and hit enter.

DON'T DO THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE THE SECURITY CODE OR YOU WILL HAVE NO RADIO. (It's usually in your owner's manual or written down somewhere on a small card tucked in the owner's manual case)
