D-pillar???????
D-pillar???????
Hey guys...... My D pillar is cracked and im trying to search ebay for it and can't find it. Can i get these online or do i have to go to the dealership to order them>>>>????
You can acquire new ones from your local Mercedes-Benz dealer or you can find them on-line at many recycling shops. I found a used pair (to replace the peeled clear coat set I had) on-line in about 10 minutes.
This topic comes up occassionally. From what I remember the shop-talk guys always bring up the fact that Benz uses some kinda special foam glue gun to put these on. Otherwise you have to find some high quality double stick foam tape or something I guess.

They're glued on - my pop's pillar on his ML fell off on the highway (what a POS) thanks for the link (pelican parts) I was gonna ask for a good link for those, however at $101 plus ship I think he's gonna have to live with it cracked....

just sand them down with a very high grit paper... sand off the clear coat. Compound, polish, wax, and seal... they will look perfect
