I looked long and hard (no pun intended) for such a manual. Normally, Hayes sells most of them but the only have the older model repair manuals for Benz's. Try looking on eBay. There may be an On-A-CD manual there. I've seen them before. I had fun changing my brakes without one.

I was starting to wonder if people just did not want to share where they purchased their repair manual for the ML. Is there an underground network that I am not aware of?
I'm like you, I looked long and hard without any luck. I even called the dealer a few months ago. They didn't have one available. The guy even told me to wait a couple of months (throwing me a bone so that I can stop asking), because MB is in the middle of converting it to CD.
I will look on eBay to see if I can find one ... I will let you know if I have any luck elsewhere. Thanks for responding.

Hi Lists
Please refer to
http://www.escribe.com/automotive/eu...mc/m10348.html
--------------------------------------------------------
I just received the manual
Model Year 1998 (USA)
Model 163
Introduction into service
Published by Mercedes Benz Services International in 1997, Order No.:
T-2678-097. It is 170 pages long.
I purchased it from www.schiffeuropean.com
I haven't had time to get very far with it, however a cursory inspection
reveals many detailed drawings, specifications and tools.

Subject: ML-320 Service Manual
Speaking of service manuals, do we have any idea when Mercedes will
release one for the 98 ML-320?
I have heard MB places a three year moratorium on the manual. Is this
true? If so, we must be real close to a release date.
Do we know what it will cost and where we will have to order it...
dealer or somewhere else. I have felt naked without one for almost
three years, and it is getting cold here in the desert once again!
This is a great board. Thanks all.

Wow! Thanks for the info Taiichiro. I wrote the guy and I'm hoping for a response. How much did you pay for the manual? Did it take long to arrive?

Hi ghitos73
I'm sorry that I got it from a friend of mine, so I do not know about price and shipping, and it is more worse for me to forget where the mannual is.

That's ok ... I know how difficult it must have been for you to get the manual ... I am from Guam ... it was hard getting things from the mainland, US.
