Need help - 2001 ml320 bose amplifier wiring
I am installing an aftermarket radio in a 2001 ml320. I had previously done it on a 1998 and had no issues. I ran into the bose db2/optical connectivity issue with this one and I have had to completely go around it and I am now trying to figure out the wires that are coming out of the bose amplifier to the speakers in the doors.
I could always open up the doors and figure out which color wire goes where but i would rather try the bose speakers out first before I replace them.
I understand that I have bitten off a lot but if anyone has a diagram of the wires going into the amplifier, it would be much appreciated. I have looked around everywhere and it seems that the colors coming out of my amp do not match anything I have seen posted.
Again, thank you in advance.

unfortunately, that is the diagram for the back of the radio and not the pin-out for the amplifier. I am just going to start stripping wires and try to figure it out tonight.
Thanks for your help!

Thanks for all of your help. I went ahead and just started splicing into wires to try and figure it out. I have read everything that you guys have sent me to try and help out but none of it really matches the car. I have been installing stereos for a while now and it boggles my mind how it can be different from your wiring harnesses but it is. The thicker wires are the speaker wires, but there are two sets of pink and orange wires and they go to different speakers.
Again, I appreciate all of your help!
