Something I absolutely love
How to remove the shifter

How do you remove the shifter? I know there is a way to unscrew it, but I thought I would clear it with you guys before I gave it a shot myself. My mom got a little bit a of nail polish on my shifter and was hoping to take it off to clean it.

BTW, what is the best solution to use to get rid of nail polish on the shift knob? Goo Gone?

Thanks

there's a trim ring at the bottom of the shift knob. Unscrew it 1/2 turn (it will provide some resistance) and it wil come loose. Afterwards the knob slides right up and off the shifter rod.

rubbing alcohol > nail polish
