2003 ML Navigation questions
2003 ML 500 with the CD based MCS Navigation.
The Navigation CD is version 2001.1
Went to the dealer to get new Navigation CDS. He orders them.
I come back to get them and he says "This doesnt say its for the ML (it says its for the E Class, C class S Class etc) but they told me this will work with the ML. Why dont you go pop it in and see if it works and if not you can bring it right back and I'll credit your card."
Run out, pop it in, the little orange screen with the ML on it pops up. And it goes blue and says "Disk Error".
Eject it... Try it again... Same thing.
Eject it. Run back in, tell him it doesnt work and get my card credited.
Go back to my car and head home. On the way I pop my original disk back in, close it up and get a Blue "please insert a Navigation CD"
Take it out, put in an audio CD, switch to audio and get "No CD Inserted".
Ive disconnected the battery hoping it might reset it, no dice.
WTF???
Any thoughts?
