Headlight Adjustment

Headlight Adjustment
The xennon light on my 2005 ML350 burned out. I replaced it, but now it is too far to the left. Does anyone know how to tell this novice how to adjust it to get it more center? Thanks

There are two plastic adjustment screws at the back of each headlight, which you need a long-necked allen key to adjust. To adjust, steps are as follows:
1. Park your ML facing a wall.
2. Switch on headlamps, mark the centre line of the vehicle and mark the cente of light projections on wall.
3. Turn the headlight adjustment screws (upper screw for horizontal, lower screw for vertical) until you get desired balance.
NB - you don't need to remove the headlamp assemblies to gain access to the adjustment screws, as long as your allen key (or hex bolt) can reach.

Funny thing for me, I recently was trying to perfect the lighting angle of the projector against a wall as well and overturned the driver's side. I'm such an idiot. Now, I'm looking at taking this thing apart just to put it back on track. Does anyone have any suggestions before I do so? Thanks.
