ML320 2000 Not Starting - Help Needed Please!!
Hello Everybody,
My ML320 (78k) is not starting!
When I try to start it, most of the lights on the board go ON, but nothing happens. I am able to shift the car from parking. There is electricity, windows, windshield, etc. seem to work OK. There is just a bit of noise that I can hear if I open the hood. The noise comes from the rear of the engine, close to the dashboard and sounds like a pump, or something running.
I have seen quite few posts here describing similar issues due to the CPS going bad. My situation seems to be a bit different since, my car doesn’t starts at all. Since it stopped working (about 1 week ago) it never started again (cold, or hot!). Before I take the CPS path I was hoping you may be able to provide some other leads.
Also, when I checked the car for error codeds it came up with P1580 (Electronic Throttle Monitor PCM Override)
