HELP! Parking brake replacement
Does anyone know how or have any diagrams that will instruct me to replace the parking brake? I know how to do the front/rear brakes but the parking brake is in a drum and thats a little over my head....for now.
Any suggestions?

You certain that these need replacement?? This would be very rare as the only wear it could get is if you had the park brake on while driving. If used correctly it really should not ever need to be replaced
I thought that very same thing. My service advisor told me that it needed to be replaced. I have never driven with the parking brake on.
I have the shoes, I just need to know how to crack that puppy.

Sorry, can't help you with the install. Perhaps someone else on the forum can. I would also double check your SA's comment before you go thru this. How did he know??
I will double check, thanks.
He (my SA) told me this because I had complained about having to push the parking brake all the way down to the floor to get it to hold on a hill. They checked it then told me that it needed to be replaced. I would often park on a hill at my girlfriends house so I think that was the major contributing factor to the wear on the brake. I would pull up, but the car in neutral and hold the regular brake, lock down the parking brake, left off the regular brake and let the parking brake catch the car (it would only move aobut an inch) then put it in park. I did that because it's not good to let the transmission hold the weight of the car on a hill.
