Exclamation European Navigation CD's for the US command module

Hi there,

We imported a US 2000 model ML320 with the nice command module.

I know that the maps come from Navtech but it seems to be an Alpine system. I contacted Alpine in Germany, because that is the home country of Alpine, but they don't seem to have them. I even contacted the Dutch branch of Navtech. But all without luck..

So my question is, does anybody know if there are European maps in the States that we can buy?

THNX

Not that I really know, but the problem I forsee is that european MBZ's including the ML have Command, what US MLs have is called MCS or Modular Control System. Alpine does make the unit for Mercedes. I know that command CDs do not work in the MCS.
I know NAVTECH has an american website that they sell the CDs form. You could look there.

Yeah i allready checked them.. but they don't supply US sold European maps.. But what will be the best thing to do? The US MCS, as you discribed, is way better quality then the EU command.. screen contrast and navigation-ability all way better..

Well let me know if anyone finds something.,...

thnx
