Dear Colleagues...
I'm planning to buy a car for winter session, but I want something cheap enough, so I'm thinking about ML430 98'-00'...![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
Is it OK to buy ML such old years? What to look for, what problems I can have?
Because I want just to sit and drive winter session, for like 4-5 months, 800 miles a month...
What can yoiu suggest for buying from the users side, so I can look for bad sides of this car when searching?
Thanks for your answers, I appreciate!

My 99 has been great, the only worry would be the transmission 13 pin connector. I did replace it for a whopping $30! Otherwise, I have also seen them rust.
I'm in Chicago if you'd like mine...
87,000 miles & very clean.
