DOOR LOCK ML320 Passenger lock INactive
What to do My lock is now stuck in the lock position.
does not move up or down unlock or lock.....it is just stuck in the lock position.
To get the front passenger door open..I can only open it from inside using the door handle...
What part DO I need to replace?
I did take the door panel off and I took a look at the area that locks the pin and unlocks it....looks like something plastic is ben or pressed over and a spring round on with 2 notches fell out of that area...
Any way..What would be the easiest way to repair this.
BUT AS A NOTE......
before this permanently locked.....That passenger front Door sometimes would lock and unlock....with the keypad or the center buttons....as well as the rear passenger side door locks sometimes as well..
and the Trunk would not ever lock with the remote or the center buttons...
I would have to open the trunk and manual lock the door.....
