Delay start and rough idle when hot.
Hi all,
Please help to pin point what is the problem on my '00 ML320 with 115K on the clock, MAS was replaced around 40K mile, all spark plugs also replaced at 65K and 4 wires at the same time due to mis-fire on 2 of the cylinders.
Here is the symptom:
Everything working fine when the engine is cold but start running a little rough at stop only after the engine reach above 60°C and if I shut down and restart the it takes longer to fire up (about 3 time longer then normal). Also there is no power or mileage lost in the freeway and no code show up.
Thanks in advance.
Tony

If you haven't replaced the CPS (crank position sensor) yet, that would be my guess. CPS failure is a common problem with this engine. My 2 cents.
