Valve Adjustment
Is there a way to adjust the valve on a 2000 ML430? I've done valve adjustment on a Honda which you just measure and tighten/loosen, then turn. Then, I've done E46 M3 which you measure, calculate, and replace valve seats.
Anyone can tell me if ML430 have hydraulic lifters or a similar system to a BMW or Honda? Any DIY guide?

They have hydraulic lifters, no maintainence or adjustments required.
The last MB engines to need adjustments were more than 15 yrs ago!

The hydraulic lifters can get noisy (clicking/light tapping sound). It's nothin much to worry about, they are a bit noisy anyway if you have the bonnet open. If you can hear it inside the vehicle then some of them may be faulty
