I have a 99 ML320. Does anyone know if you can replace the glass in the rear view mirror or do you have to replace the whole thing?

Anyone have a source for mirrors and mirror parts?

If you're talking about the receding auto-dim fluid that is in the glass, mine is doing that, too. The whole mirror assembly would have to come from the dealer. I have a feeling that the heat from the dash vents lends to the demise of these mirrors, especially if your passenger pushes the flaps in the up position instead of off. Try it and you'll see what I mean.

I found the whole assembly on eBay one day after my mirror started to get that fluid leaking inside it. Just have to check it from time to time to see if anyone is selling them. They are alot cheaper on eBay!
