98 ML ABS. ESP light..
Hello all,,
I'm looking at a 98 ml320 to buy as a fixer-upper... its presst cheap, the body is in great shape and it runs really strong. My first benz was this same type vehicl and I ran the crap out of it 225K to be exact so I have a lot of experience with these cars and have always been fond of the ML.
Anyway, there is an ABs and ESP light on this truck. It seems to me that there was something that could be reset when these both came on it that correct? or do I have an issue??
I'm only paying 4K for the vehicle if I buy it.

I had the same exact thing happen to me...ABS and ESP lights came on one night last week when it was snowing out...and i think its something with the sensor, somehow the next morning after turning the steering wheel left and right through normal driving the lights went away on their own

I had that happen to me when i change my battery,
It popped on until i did some normal driving for 5 mins.
Before getting into details and services, try disconnecting the battery first, usually that solves Most of the problems on benz, cause it reset the computer.
