Erebuni Wide Body 8pcs: What do you think?

Hi there, I found a local buddie that is selling a 8pcs body kit set for ML320

I need to know what do you think?

4fender flares, front bumper,rear bumper,2 side skirts.
for 500CAD about 400 us. NON painted and new.

Let me know if its worth it or not??

I think its kinda worth it, consider the fact that the fender flares are really nice. not a big fan for the front bumber, but the rear looks nice and side skirts also.
i think they are over 1200 retail.

ML320, Looking for my S4
the front bumper is a lip kit. FYI after spending about 4 hours molding, shaving, grinding, and bending to get my erebuni c/f hood to fit on my w210 i wouldn't trust them with jack ****. There's a reason they went outa business, their **** was so bad even the mexicans in rice rockets couldn't put up with it.

::no offense to mexicans::

MG: was that neccessary? If your also hating me cause of the other thread then u can reply there otherwise please stay on topic thanks.
And I heard the quality sucks. And I'm not putting it on. Plus the front and rear bumper don't fit. Also the flares don't fit cause it's also connected to the bumper. But I'm getting 22s on soon.

i can tell you i had these fiberglass kits, they will chip like having a clay bumper. whoever thinks you can use a hard fiberglass bodykit is fooling themselves, when it cracks it's worse than having a rock pebble chip on your windshield.

Well, yes. If you think that you don't need to have an AMG built car to stick AMG logos all over it, then the same logic would apply to body mods. Why get the mods when you can simply get the badge?

I'll let "Ur" post stand as a demonstration and definition of immaturity.

Adults slapping you in the back of the head and telling you that you are a twitty child is not an example of immaturity.

1) you inability to competently communicate via the English language pegs you as not only younger than I am, but also significantly less worthy of even a modicum of respect.

2) I am not stalking you. Your posts are immediately called out in other areas of the forum by more than a few other members who are lurking here and laughing at everything you post.

Get it? Not only are you a tool, you are a public fool who is being laughed at and derided by this community (of adults) at large.

oh really? there laughing,, Omg, im so embarassed.

Are you serious? let them laugh, people can only laugh. Its there mouth, their mind, I cant control it. Just like everything else I do, and everything you guys say, I cant control it, and you can control me.

You can laugh all you want and hide behind the monitor think wow, this member is a poser.
But honestly, when you log off your computer, you will realize that your just behind the computer screen.. your miles and miles away from where I am..

It fun tho eh, wake up go to work, come home, and realize, "Oh wait, I forgot to do something, I need to go on mbworld.org and laugh at someone." thats nice how life at your age is based on that daily.

As far as I know, let them laugh. Im not seeing it, im not hearing it, and all it is are a bunch of letters going "haha".

Feel free to join the thread whoever wants to join MG and laugh..
Heres my personal invite.

And matter of fact, this is the 2nd thread I created that has been ruin, due to lack of respect by members dropping sarcasm on a NEW thread, talking about non related stuff..

If you want this to go on, go on the DIY thread, ill be happy to respond. =]

ya, i know., thats why im not getting it.
Its bad quality and it doesnt fit 2002 models.
i can get it for 500 off my friend thats why i was interested.
i was only interested in the flares, thats all because im planning to lower it and put 22s.

But he only sells it as a Kits of 8 pieces. and i have a side step bar, so i would have to remove it which i dont want.

Like i said, im not a fan of the fornt bumper and rear. im only interested in the flare.

But the flare is also part of the kit. so it wont fit also .

Face it, we all like the ML55 flares, it brings the european look..

Thanks for the opinion.

You would be better of finding ml55/sport parts than putting that type of "stuff" on your ml. Spend $ once and spend it on quality parts. Envision how you want to see your ml when it's done with only OEM or quality parts and do not waiver.
I've seen mansory, rinnspeed, brabus, techart....you name it, fitted to all marques of cars and even with those only a handfull just fit. My body guy would tell me to never come back if I ever showed up with clapped out pac rim made nonsense like that.
Your getting razed because of your approach...

Ya i know. its just because i ahve a buddy selling it for that price, thats why i thought i was interested. Then I did some research into it, and i realize the quality was just ----
I dont know much about body parts for ML, Im not a fan of BODY kits or even the WALD add on.. I know the ML500 flares are really nice and the price always tell the quality.

He just told me he had a kit so I did some research for it.ANd ask for opinions.

Dont worry i dont intend to get these cheap stuff for the flares.

I worked at a body shop before also. One of the best in town. And they always do some custom work on kits, flares, ect. They work for BMW dealship as a private body shop, because BMW in vancouver doesnt have a body shop in there dealer.

But thanks for the advice. Honestly I never seen the kit itself, he just told me he has one for sale on the phone,n by ERUBUNI, so i thought i was not bad for the flares.

I decided to get the 22 for sure, but lowering the car and flares, i would hold off till i see how the 22 fits.
thanks Gustaf

i have replica flares by sarona on my car and they don't look much different. i figure the flares are easier to manage in fiberglass than the bumpers because when rocks chip the fiberglass it'll crack. the flares are not so prone to knicks, and normally if you get door dings it is on the door not the fender, depends on how you angle and park the car.

2000 ML55 AMG Black on Black
Erebuni bodykit

I'm going to get really roasted for saying this, but quality issues aside, I kind of like the look of the Erebuni kit. The fact of the matter is that our "trucks" are most likely never going off road and have the capacity to move people and cargo more easily than a car. The forum member who started this thread is a younger guy, starting with the more affordable, common 6 cyclinder and works for a stereo shop. I'm not surprised he's exploring options like the Erebuni kit. If we were in his demographic, we'd probably do the same thing.

looks pretty okay in white. I'd do a brabus grill on it though.

I don't own a ML, but for my taste I wouldn't go that route!!
