my passenger rear door lock ...

my locks on my ml want to lock when the remote button is pushed but the right rear door makes a click, click, click sound before it locks...sometimes setting off the oem car alarm!
this just started 2 days ago. wife thinks she hit the remote to many times with a baby in her arms.

I tryed changing the relays...nothing....fuses ok.
so I pushed the lock knob down on the passenger rear door then hit the lock button and all the locks lock and no click , click, click sound.

Can a MBZ tech please chime in on this one and tell me whats going on here.
is the silinoid going bad that actuates and pulls down the lock knob?

please email me at visionmirror@gmail.com

I dont always check this site .

thanks alot!

Your door's lock actuator has failed...about $200 for the part, $150ish for labor..
I just got 2 lock actuators replaced...rear passenger door, rear trunk hatch, both lock actuators had failed for a while..

Its not too safe driving around a car, that doesn't properly lock..get it done ASAP!
