Question Oil Changer?

It's almost time for my next oil change on my 98 ML320. I was wondering if I could do it this time using an oil changer like the one in the picture below. Does anyone here use this type of oil changer? Any recommendations?

I recommend using any kind of vacuum oil pump when changing the oil on an ML. If you just drain the oil from the pan, it gets all over the front subframe and makes a huge mess.

I use a Fram SureDrain SD-2 on my ML-320 and that helps in changing the oil.

Any vacuum type of oil changer works quite well on the ML's. I used on on my ML320, and on my ML500. In both cases, I pulled the plug after 'sucking' out the oil through the dipstick just to see how much it pulled out, and there was only a couple of ounces left in the pan. Now I don't even pull the plug, just use the vacuum changer.

Make sure you remove the oil filter & let that oil drain down to the pan first.
