I am looking to buy a transmission dip stick for a 99 ML430 off ebay or elsewhere, but they spec a trans # such as a 722.6.....

Does anyone know how/where to get the correct piece........or the correct trans #......for this truck

Mine locked in limp mode....and I would like to check if it is low before having it checked.
I did get CEL P0700 about a month ago......cleared it and it never came back...Now it won't go out of 2nd and the light has not come on again either.

Maybe I could be lucky.........for 1 time.
