Anyone ever use Interstate for warranty?

My father-in-law in considering purchasing a plan from them for 6 years/90K miles for $1,876 for a used '08 ML 350 he bought. The coverages seem adequate, but I was wondering if anyone has any dirt, good or bad, on them. Do they nit-pick repair requests or are they pretty solid? Thanks in advance!
