Awaiting a new arrival...
ML55 Gauge Cluster in 2001 ML320
I know it has been said in the past this will not work. Is there any definitive information to support this? I am interested in swapping in the cluster if it will work or if it has to be programmed to work. Any ideas? Thanks.

Sure it will work.........
I know several people who have done it. After you install it, which only takes about 20 minutes, you will need to have the dealer activate it and reset the mileage.
