HID Question.

Well I just joined the forum and it's a great place. I have a 2003 Mercedes ML320. The stock bulbs just suck. It didn't come with the Xenon lights. I wanted to know if it would be safe for me to install some 5000k HID's in them. Do you guys think it would looks good on it and how much better would the light output be?

Here's a picture of how they look light now:

I would recommend a light output of closer to the OEM output of 4200K.

You should be safe to install a HID Kit.

PM me and I can help you out some more.

07' C230 & 04' ML350
Chaoul1,
I read in other MB forums that they don't recommend using HID in stock headlights. The HID bulb is longer than the regular headlight bulb and the housing in the headlight itself is not long enough for it. They said to change the whole headlight housing if you want HID. I seen online the aftermarket HID housing with lights for less than $400. If you want I can find the website again and post it here for you. I want HID too, because my C230 have them and they are amazing, but I will go with Sylvania SilverStar or UltraVision which is 4000k plus.
