You can buy it from pepboys, type c. Don't buy it from kragen, it does not fit well as the one from pepboys.
you can buy oil filter and all the mercedes parts from this website

have fun, pull the old oil filter out from the assembly, that is all. remember to pour new oil .

We have bought the one that MB sells, it is well made, and has a special feature, that allows the cap to be removed from the tool, without damaging the plastic cap.
We paid the equivelant of US$11-00 for it.
Whilst we had a general purpose one for our Honda, I had concern that it would scratch the plastic.

You will see a selction of do it yourself jobs, there are two on filter changes, one will suit your car.
