Help! My '99 ML320 is making gurgling sound (like drain clogged sound) coming from my coolant tank area and I see bubble coming up inside the coolant tank from the pipe that connect between the engine and the coolant tank. Is there something wrong? 
is the coolant clear or is there oil in it?
if there is oil in it you likely blew a head gasket.
did you run out of coolant and add more, if so it will take a while for all that air to purge.

Mine does the same thing when I shut down my truck...interested in the reasoning.

It's normal. They all do it, per my dealer. I've had no problems.
