It will have to be an Alpine that has the CAN bus (fiber optic) connection. I'm not sure if one like that exists. Or IIRC there exists a converter from CAN bus to normal, but I'm not sure if it works with the CD Changer.

why didn't you install MB manufacture, so everything will be easier since it's MB car ?. I just got the one exactly like yours. The MB technician will come to my work's place to install it this thursday. He said it take only 30' !

why would i pay such price, if MB uses ALPINE also as their changer, ive install one in my 95 c-class, but im not sure if the same one will work on my 03 ML, i know it wont be a plug n' play thing since i need to buy an adaptor

Go to precsionautodesign.com they have what you need I know there cheaper than the factory unit. I have bought several with no problem.
