2000 ML430 - Cut out cats?
Has anyone cut out the cats on a 2000ish ML430 and replaced it with a straight pipe? Not worried about emmisions.
Anyone know a shop or guy in the San Diego area to do the work?

no operating exhaust/muffler business will do that for you. They can loose there business license. Maybe some type of Race/ Tuning shop will do it. but it will be cost you.
You will also risk serious fines, I think the amount for removing emmission device is $1500.
BTW its not a easy job. the Cats are routed thu curved pipe. 2 of them are above the torsion bar.
