I AM HAVING AN INTERMITIN PROBLEM, WHEN I COME TO A COMPLETE STOP AND TAKE OFF, IT SEEMS LIKE IT STAY'S IN FIRST GEAR! THE ONLY WAY TO GET OUT OF IT IS TO TURN THE CAR OFF AND ON.

You might try the reset method by turning the key to the 2nd position without turning the car on. Depress the gas pedal for 5 seconds. Let up gas pedal. Turn key to off, but leave key in ignition. Sit for at least 2 minutes without opening any doors. This will allow the computer to reset itself. Just a thought. It works on the older ML's like my 00 430. Mike
