I replaced the CPS no problem but car still won't start. The engin cranks strong, fuel is getting to fuel rails, but wat happens is it starts runs 10 seconds and shuts down. I disconnected the battery for 5 min and re connected to wipe out old error codes no help. This is same problem it had prior to the CPS replacement any one have any suggestions, do I need to disconnect battery for longer period of time?

I'm having similar problem with my ML320.
Did you find out what it was?
My mechanic said it's ECU problem with my car.
We took it to the mercy dealer, it's been there for 3 months now, they tried to repair the ECU, but now they say it can't be fixed.
Any solutions?

Hi I have a mercedes w220 s320 CDI and when I'm driving it just cuts out and I pull over and it starts no faults no Warning lights for a bit and it happens again I'm worried I will get stuck somewhere can anyone help please on what the issue is Thank you

I have a 2000 ml320 was driving on the highway when all of a sudden my red battery light on the right lower side of dash came on then my car radio shut down and then everything shut down. Got a tow to a friends we charged up battery enough to start and take of positive to know we needed a new alternator.
got a new alternator. the car still wouldn't start. It had power everything was on but no start just one click but all power still on. So bought a new battery. Still the same thing no start just turn the key and once click sound. so I have a new alternator and new battery. I am stumped what to do next. please help me.

Check the starter motor it might of got stuck or Check the engine just in case it has seized if that's not it then try realys and fuses
