ML History of pulling left/right?

I hve had 2 MLs 2000 ML 320 and 2004 ML500.
Both Right hand drive in Australia.
They both after time ended up pulling to the left.
Spent some time and mony trying to fix this.
Only to be told that they have a history of this.
By a local tyre guy who does a lot of work for the local MB Dealer
Any suggested fixes to thois.
DOes the LH Drive model pull to right/

Thanks

Sounds more like an alignment problem. You should take your car to an alignment shop and seek their advice.

Funny, both the ML and CLK (left hand drive) pull to the right. Was told by the dealership this is normal for MB.
Maybe it works opposite for right hand drive MB's.

I was thinking that the problem could be the tie rod/ bushings. Do you know if the car goes through tires faster than normal?

My 99 ML320 (purchased new) LH doesn't pull to the right or left.

Can't believe a dealer will tell you that - I hope you didn't believe them!

I don't know if you bought new or used but a lot of time, people who buy used complain about these kinds of issues without doing the necessary work to make the vehicle "road worthy." That could mean something as simple as checking the tire pressure. I had a new MY02 320 that pulled one way and a proper 4-wheel alignment fixed that - and I found out that proper alignment means that you ask for the b4 and after printout to make sure where you are with respect to specs. On my 05 500, I updated to 19 inch wheels with summer only 285/45 Continental 4x4 SportContact tires. The pull was to one side, even after several alignments. Called Continental and the problem was with the tires. Had them replaced with their latest summer tires (CrossContact UHP) and no pull whatsoever. I had similar issues with the B'Stones on my Nissan - B'Stone replaced the rubbers and no abnormal wear after that. Point is this: if you have a well maintained vehicle that pulls to one side, work with both the vehicle manufacturer and the tire manufacturer to resolve the problem.
