2005 ML500 68 Corvette

Morning everyone-Just signed up with this forum, so I thought I'd say hi
Not new to forums, as I 'm a member of several Corvette forums, just new to this one, anyway we have an '05 ML 500 we bought new. Now that the warranty is out, I need to start working on this thing myself, so you'll see me on here a lot more asking questions
My first foray into wrenching on the ML was installing brake pads on the rear. It was much easier than I thought it would be, only because I replaced the worn factory pads with Raybestos ones bought from the local parts house
, now it squeals like a stuck pig. Wish I'd have known about this forum beforehand! Now I get to take it apart again....
Also while searching for the source of a loud "clunk" in the front end, I found a loose upper driver side control arm, tightened it up and the clunk went away
Other than going through brakes, which I now find is normal for these vehicles, and the control arm, we haven't had any problems with the ML 500. Good to know there's a forum for when I do start having issues with it
