2002 ML320 Gas Guage Out
So, we filled up the other night and the gauge reads empty, the light is on and the info cluster by the sun roof indicates that we have 0 miles to go. So, is that simply the fuel sending unit in the gas tank that needs to be replaced?

Not sure, but my ML430 has the same problem. It starts out empty, then after I burn some of the fuel off (maybe a gallon or so) it functions normally again when I restart it. My friends said the replacement part is not cheap, and sort of a pain to do. I did not inquire how much the dealer charges to replace it.
