My wife called me yesterday freaking out. Our 01 ML55 was stuck in park w/ the BAS ESP light on. I did a fast thread search and found out about sticking a pen in the gear selector (saved me flat bed towing) then I picked up a new brake switch @ the dealer for $26 plus tax. 30 minutes later in the comfort of my own air conditioned garage / done. I could never afford one of these things without a resource like this forum.
