Hey there,

Just bought a 2000 ML430 with 145K miles. I don't have any service history on it other than the dealer (not MB) has just replaced a radiator and re-filled a power steering fluid (steering was super tight during the test drive). I plan on taking it to some sort of an independent shop for a check, but in the mean time what would you suggest I do from a maintenance standpoint. Transfer case fluid change? Axel fluid change? Obviously an oil change? Anything else I should check?

1999 CLK320
I picked up a 99 ml320 with 150k and I replaced all fluids. Also, I replaced the idler(cracking), tensioner and serpentine belt. I had a 99 clk320 and was left stranded because the idler failed.

Why? Why not? I've spend about $200 on all the fluids. ATF was $15/qt.
