Trans gasket
Hey Kevin,
I am by no means an expert, but replacing the gasket is an easy & straightforward task if you feel like taking it on. Do you typically do your own oil changes or other maintenance? Depending on where you are located, the biggest challenge might be a warm, dry place to work on it

Process from start to finish may be about 2 hours, which includes shop cleanup... You will need to buy or borrow the trans dipstick tool to accurately measure the fluid level when you are done. I am sure there is a write-up on the site somewhere for that DIY.
Best of luck,
Greg

trans gasket
I guess I should have also noted, that the gasket is fairly solid, maybe just checking the tightness of the bolts/clamps may be enough... but... @ 60k miles, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to replace the fluid & filter anyways! Oh.. and the choice of trans fluid to use will spark a whole other debate

Trans gasket
Okay, maybe I should have gathered all of my thoughts and incorporated them into one response... I swear I did not go out drinking last night or celebrate the New Year too hard...
I think maybe you should wipe down the trans pan pretty good and around the electrical connector near the front of the transmission. Drive for a bit, depending on how quick you feel it is leaking and then try to pinpoint the exact location rather than replace the gasket when that might not even be the problem... Regardless, a fluid & filter change is a good idea about now.
Sorry for the fragmented thoughts,
Greg
