How hard is it to change the rear hatch struts?

How hard is it to change the rear hatch struts?
The rear hatch struts aren't holding the lid up very well any more, figure I'll change them. Has anyone done this themselves? Any special MB tools needed or is this nice and easy?
also, is this the right part?

tailgate / hatch struts
If you can breathe, you can change the support struts.
You'll need a small screw driver to pry off the spring clips on the old struts. One at each end, top and bottom. Once off, just snap the new struts in place. Note: replace new struts exactly as old ones were installed, ie, there is a top & buttom.

Yep, easy-peasy. Did this myself on my 99 ML430. Hardest part was holding up the door while I did it (didn't have someone to help or a good way to prop it open at the time). Still took no more than 5 mins. Got my struts on Ebay and they do a great job holding up the door.

are hood struts just as easy for DIY?
Are they available on ebay also?? Azautohaus has them for about $24 each.
