Aftermarket HID's in '02 ML320 ?? What do I need to know?????????
We just bought a 2002 ML320, which has standard holagen headlamps. I'd like to install some aftermarket HID's - since I'm sure (?) I can not install factory xenon's right?
I know I need something special so the car doesnt think a lamp is out - what do I need to know about installing aftermarket HID kits? THANKS

Some kits come with a load resistor/ballast unit which lets the computers recognise that a light with the "correct" current draw is present and doesn't trigger a false blown light response, that is what you need. Get a reputable kit so that the bulb is matched to the cars headlight reflector. You could also get a completed headlamp replacement unit that already matched to the HID bulb.
