Anyone experience this issue when driving your ML with AC on in light traffic condition or long trip in 75 -85 degree weather the temperture gauge indicate close to 100 degree. And in 90+ degree weather it went a little over 3/4 mark. So, its constantly indicate over 100 degree per temperture gauge. Why is the temperture so high? My 740iL and Acura CL never went over the half mark in the temperture gauge.

The techs will tell you it's normal as long as you're in the "NORMAL" range. However, it's a bit troubling to see it jump like that, consistently, especially when others don't do it. Mine has always been just a tad over the 80 degree mark. I just came from a 700 mile trip and I was running hard, 85-90 most of the time, with A/C on and the temps stayed just a tad above 80 degrees. Keep an eye on it. You may ask them to pressure test the system, along with the radiator cap.
