help sunroof won't close.
Hi,
My ml430 of 2000 vintage has a problem with its sunroof,the roof is the normal glass tilt slide type.
The problem started with the metal wind deflector plate and arms being broke due to the plastic clips age hardening and falling to bits.
I was going to post on here today for the information on the repair kit and the fix but the roof has gone wrong over the weekend.
I have removed fuse 4 and left it out for 40 seconds and done the keep the switch back for the same time trick, the roof closes except the last 10mm of travel and the rear tilting into its normal position isn't happening can anyone help please.

ps. no total closer on this car as I have tried windows down roof open and the lock symbol on my ml key fob doesn't close anything up.

okay,
wound the roof into the proper closure position using the crank handle.
Pulled fuse 4 out counted to ten and put the fuse back in, the roof now goes up and down but doesn't slide back?
I have booked the car into a merc specialist locally lets hope its not too dear a repair.
