NO sound from aftermarket DVD player

NO sound from aftermarket DVD player
Hey guys,

I'm posting this in my garage right now and desperately need your help.

I've a 2000 ML430 with Bose system. It is not Fiber optic, but I have a Bose amp. I've all the wiring harness code and connected the wires correctly. I've also grounded the parking brake wire to bypass the safety warning.

But I have NO sound. Do I have to re-wire the speaker wires directly to the headunit (JVC dvd player)

Help !! I've to put the car back together so my wife can drive it tomorrow !
